Faith Seekers Sunday School Class

A Testimony from Nancy Cole

I get such a blessing from my Sunday school class the Faith Seekers. It is a class for couples, & singles, with the age range from 25-75! With such a wide age range you have a large variety of life experiences from which to pull, can add to interesting discussions on any topic! We have very lively discussions, and can even agree to disagree at times and be fine with it!

We used various forms of study. Sometimes we study from the traditional quarterly, but much of the time we vote to go with a particular bible study or book. We break into small groups for discussions, and a lot of sharing goes on. We even manage to learn a great deal about the Word.

There is an abundant amount of support, encouragement and love within the class. Each week we have a prayer time. Many of us keep in touch with emails about prayer requests. Most of us are very active in the church as well.

Our class gets together socially from time to time during the year. Of course eating would be our favorite thing! We have also done retreats to the mountains and the beach, put-put golf, hay rides, clam bakes, etc. Every thanksgiving we prepare a turkey meal for the developmentally delayed Sunday school class of Calvary Baptist of which there is over 100 members. We each receive such a blessing from this ministry. We have done this ministry for over 10 years now!
